Il Borgo della Marinella has all of the characteristics of a location capable of accommodating important and refined events. The antique charm of a timeless elegance, a quaint corner of the past. A silence broken only by birdsong.

A rural hamlet that has survived in a reality dominated by countryside, woods and abandoned corners sculpted by rain, wind and time.

The borgo was transformed into a hotel during 2005, paying particular attention to preserving its rustic appearance by using the same materials such as redrock so as to maintain the same appealing atmosphere.

The old farm Borgo has been faithfully restructured to provide 12 hotel rooms and 28 residences.All of which have been decorated in total harmony with the natural surroundings, though still offering every "ModCon" (Air Conditioning, Heating, Satellite TV, Telephone Wi-Fi Internet, Safe, Minibar) that guarantees a relaxing and comfortable break whilst "returning to the roots".

"Il Borgo" also has a very well-cured Restaurant, elaborately decorated with a top-class staff and above all, a high level of cuisine offered by Enzo Cecere, the Executive Chef.

Blessed with an ample, air conditioned room with panoramic sea views which exploit the characteristic elements of the Borgo during the summer season where one can appreciate the tasty and innovative dishes offered by the Chef.

The restaurant specialises in a Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh fish, tasty meat dishes of high quality and a tradition for haute cuisine for special events. The mastery of blending the tastes of our fresh products with the utmost respect while still obtaining an exalting gastronomic delight.

The wine cellar offers a rich selection of white and red wines that knowingly match the dishes offered.

As well as a splendid beach with pure waters, il Borgo della Marinella also offers tours of the nearby islands and forest, numerous sporting activities and historical visits to the towns and monuments that show the passage from different civilisations that have united to produce these lovable places.

Situated 30 metres above sea level and 400 metres from the beach, Il Borgo della Marinella is in the province of Cosenza, between Amantea and Campora S.Giovanni in a very easily accessible point.

By car: A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria, exit Falerna, SS18 in direction Salerno for approx. 10 km.
By plane: Aeroporto di Lamezia Terme distance 25km.
By train: Paola Train Station distance 25km. or Amantea 7km.
