Hotel Urbano V° Wir haben eine sogenannte Suite reserviert, allerdings sind wir von Suiten einen anderen Standard gewöhnt...ein altes Bettsofa als "Wohnbereich", zwei alte Fernseher mit ausschliesslich italienischen Programmen, an sich schöne Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick, aber keinerlei Bepflanzung und viel zu wenig Sitz-oder Liegemöglichkeiten (Liegestühle ohne Auflagen...); Frühstücksbuffet doch eher minimalistisch und sehr trockenes, kaum geniessbares Brot, kein Toaster etc. / Alles in allem nicht unbedingt unseren Ansprüchen genügend.

Hotel Urbano V° The gentleman who attended to us upon arrival was not very welcoming or pleasant to speak to. We felt as though we were bothering him! The next morning at breakfast we received the same "cold" welcome from the same gentleman.

Hotel Urbano V° We particularly enjoyed the helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. This was our first visit to Montefiascone and we were provided with a nice overview and history of both the hotel and the town. The stall responded promptly to all of our needs and provided excellent suggestions regarding restaurants etc. Montefiacone and Hotel Urbano V are high on our list of places to which we will return on future visits.

Hotel Urbano V° Pleasant hotel with friendly and knowledgable helpful staff, good initial feeling when checking in at reception. Old world decor. Clean and tidy. Room clean. Breakfast nutritious and filling. Only drawback was early difficulty in locating hotel in a system of one way narrow streets and limited parking possibilities. No map. GPS confused. Limited parking also due to street clearing because of Wine Festival parades same evening. This 'inconvenience' was compensated for by participation in the lively street action and warm ambiance experienced during Wine Festival AND finding parking at a secure space some 800m away !

Hotel Urbano V° Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the centre of the old town. Montefiascone was an excellent stop off point near wine country and on our way to the Rome airport from the north.

Hotel Urbano V° The only problem we had was, the gentleman that manned reception and served us breakfast, was the most miserable man, I have ever met in a hotel in all my life (42 years of them). He is in either the wrong job or hates the British. He did not acknowledge us or smile the time we were there. The girls on the reception desk were great and well made up for his misery.

Hotel Urbano V° Very pleasant hotel, well located in centre of old town. Parking can be a problem at first until you know the run of the town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace is lovely. Overall, a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it.

Hotel Urbano V° The hotel was very nice although very difficult to find. Once we had found it, it was very difficult to park and check in as there is no parking except for a space outside blocked off for guests to temporarily park before checking in. Although the staff were good generally, at checkin the gentleman on reception spoke no English at all and had no idea about the booking. Later in the day an english-speaking receptionist explained everything to us but the first point of impact at reception was very difficult.

Hotel Urbano V° Very interesting location near the top of the hill in oldest part of town. Desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful room and rooftop garden not to be missed for views. Maybe the best meal we had in three weeks in Italy was at Tratoria al Buongusto in Montefiascone. Very limited English, but great food and reasonable, family run small restuarant.
