Hotel San Marco This was a stylish hotel, with extremely friendly and helpful staff, located within easy reach (just a brief walk) of one of the main entrances through the walls and into the old town of Lucca. The swimming pool and area around it were nicely designed and screened. In many ways it was more like a 4 or 5 star hotel rather than a 3 star. I would recommend it to anyone and certainly be happy to stay there again. Overall, very good value indeed.

Hotel San Marco The only thing that could have been improved on was the breakfast served, which was perfectly adequate, but not as good as the rest of the experience!

Hotel San Marco Quiet residential setting, but close to the walls of Lucca. Excellent welcome from very helpful and friendly staff. Lucca is a wonderful town to visit and cycle round.

Hotel San Marco The staff were always available with usefull information, nothing was too much trouble, I went with my four year old grandson and we will most certainly stay in this hotel again. The breakfast offered a huge assortment of fresh juices, fresh fruit, pastries, cooked breakfasts, cereals and of course nutella which was a hit for my grandson.

Hotel San Marco Although there is no restaurant for evening meals, the small trattoria just yards from the hotel is a little gem for the casual diner, and perhaps should be advertised a little more.

Hotel San Marco The one thing that makes this hotel better than average is the staff who are exceptional. The hotel itself was fine but not particularly special. In a good position for the town but a half hour walk from the station.

Hotel San Marco Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ambiente accogliente e cordiale. Molto vicino alle mura della città, ma comunque silenziosissimo perché già lontano dal traffico. Il noleggio biciclette direttamente in hotel, lo rende ideale per visitare la bellissima città di Lucca.
