The charme of an ancient Florentine house emerges at hotel River, a fancy hotel with tapestry ceiling, precious marble and elegantly furnished rooms, set on an historical palace in the heart of Santa Croce district in Florence.
The hotel River is located in a charming 19th-century building of Florence situated on the banks of the river Arno.
Recently completely renovated using the finest materials, the hotel offers quality and comfort and preserves the original charm of a traditional Florentine residence.
All rooms feature private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, as well as quality comforts such as air-conditioning and heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone with data port and safebox.
Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms are available upon request when booking your reservation.
Guests are kindly asked to specify (when booking) if they prefer double rooms with a king bed or twin beds.

Hotel River The hotel is located a bit far from the city centre, but it's worth it. Clean and quiet room, with a beautifully decorated bathroom. Staff were very helpful, giving us many useful tips.

Hotel River The friendly advice for places to eat from the reception
Hotel River The ventilator made a lot of noise and it was not possible to switch it off. It may also have been the ventilator of the neighbouring rooms.

Hotel River The room was basic but very clean and nice. The staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. They even found an English speaking dentist for us when we had a slight dental emergency!! We were so pleased by the staff and would not hesitate to recommend the Hotel River to friends and family. Thank you so much.

Hotel River Ho soggiornato in questo hotel 2 volte. Ci ritorno molto volentieri, per l'accoglienza del personale, sempre molto disponibile e l'ubicazione centrale. Stanze confortevoli e silenziose.

Hotel River All'arrivo mi raccomandai che mi fosse assegnata una camera silenziosa. Alla reception mi garantirono che la camera assegnatami sarebbe stata perfetta. Si trovava proprio sotto un condizionatore antidiluviano. Risultato: causa il rumore non dormimmo tutta la notte. Il mattino seguente lasciammo l'albergo.

Hotel River Il bagno della stanza per disabili ha il bidet troppo piccolo e troppo vicino alla tazza del water. il lavandino ha una grigllia sottostante che impedisce alla carrozzina di avvicinarsi, il sedile della doccia è troppo piccolo, dovrebbe essere almeno due volte tanto, bisognerebbe inoltre dotarla di un maniglione ribaltabile, insomma dal punto di vista dell'accessibilità l'hotel deve migliorare. Il locale per la prima colazione non è accessibile. L'accesso alla terrazza del quarto piano è molto difficoltoso. L'ingresso posteriore umiliante e le stanze devono tenere le finestre chiuse perchè la gente passando per strada non veda dentro, quindi sempre luce elettrica o semioscurità.

Hotel River La chambre était propre et confortable. La position de l'hôtel centrale et pratique.
Hotel River Le service de petit déjeuner est disponible seulement jusqu'à 9h et en plus il offre très peu. La douche de notre chambre était très petite.
