Hotel Puntabella Varazze

The Hotel Puntabella is set in a beautiful location along the Ligurian coast in a tranquil area, out of the centre and overlooking the sea.

The Puntabella Hotel is located outside Varazze, looking out on the peaceful village of Cogoleto on the Italian Riviera in Liguria. Just minutes away from marvelous beaches and the fast railway line which takes you to Milan, Rome, Turin, Ventimiglia and Genoa, as well as giving you beautiful views over the sea.

The Puntabella Hotel is a great place to stay for a relaxing Italian Riviera holiday in Liguria at any time of the year. There is a long stretch of public beach just below the hotel, which also offers its guests discounted rates at a private beach.

The 30 rooms, of which 5 independent with little kitchenette, have been recently renewed and equipped with TV Sat, bath and direct telephone. Other rooms on the back garden are available for those, who are looking for rest and quiteness.

An abundant breakfast buffet, which consists of everything from local specialties like freshly-baked focaccia genovese to international breakfast fare, such as brioches, biscuits, fresh bread, jam, honey, cereals, cheese, ham, fruit, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit juices, is served in the breakfast area between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. The terrace veranda has a capacity up to 150 seats, while the inner hall, up to 120 places, is available for buffett breakfast. The restaurant offer local cuisine, with specialties based on fresh grilled fish or good pizzeria.

Varazze and Cogoleto offer tourist attractions for every taste. Cogoleto enjoys a calm atmosphere; the evening is ideal for romantic walks near the sea or to taste a good glass of wine or a cocktail in one of the numerous little bar or pubs present. 

Varazze is the perfect place for young people: with its numerous fast foods, bars and ice-cream shops offer  discos and several open storees also during the evening.

Wegbeschreibung

By car 

The nearest exit is Varazze, on A10 highway Genoa/Savona. Turn left on the SS1 "Via Aurelia" and after approximately 2 Km you will find the hotel on your left.

From Genoa/Milan (A10) you can exit also at Arenzano; there take Via Aurelia turning right. Once crossed  the country of Cogoleto after less than 1 Km you will find the hotel on the right.

By train

If you come from Genoa get off in Cogoleto station, exit on the large square after about 10 meters you will be on the Aurelia way and on the right, in front of a bar, you will find the bus stop directed to Varazze.

If we come from Savona you can get off in Varazze train station and on the square you can find the "ALI Autotrasporti" bus.

By plane

When you arrive in Genoa airport take the "Volabus" directed to Genoa Brignole railway station, if instead you have little luggage, in ten minutes you can reach by foot Genoa Sestri Ponente railway station. From both the stations your destination will be Cogoleto.

If Albenga is your airport of arrival you can take the bus directed to the railway station and from here the first train directed to Varazze.
