The Hotel Mirage is acomfortable hotel in the heart of the "Eternal City", ideal place for work or holiday travels, near Termini Station, Colosseo, Foro Romano, the wonderful Piazza di Spagna, and the famous Via Veneto.
The rooms typology varies from the single rooms to the family rooms, all finely furnished and provided with every comfort. Our rooms have a professional atmosphere in single rooms, romantic in double rooms, private in suites and joyful in family spacious rooms.
In a few minutes you can reach on foot the Colosseo, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Fori Imperiali, Via Veneto, Via Nazionale, Via dei Condotti and the Teatro dell’Opera. This is an ideal position to visit the most important museums from the Capitolian to the Vatican museums. You can reach on foot in ten minutes, the University “La Sapienza”, the Air Force premises and the general hospital Policlinico Umberto I going through Viale dell’Università, a street parallel to the hotel. The hotel is near the CSM (Superior Magistracy Counsel), the ISS (Superior Health Institute) (0,3 km) and the CNR (National Research Counsel).
Wegbeschreibung
From the airport of Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci): it is possible to catch the direct train Leonardo Express to the central Termini station (30 minutes). The trains directed to the central Termini Station leave every 30 minutes. The first train leaves at 6.37 a.m., and the last train leaves at 11.37 p.m. The tickets can be bought at the tobacconist’s near the train and they cost 11 euro a person.
By car:
from the airport of Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci) to the Hotel: exit from the airport following the direction to Rome, straight ahead, and exit on the left in Cristoforo Colombo - Rome center. Go straight ahead until Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano and from there take Via Merulana until the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, turn right and you will be in front on the central Termini station. There, ask how to arrive to Via Marsala and you are at the hotel in 5 minutes.
From the airport of Ciampino to the Hotel: exit from the airport following Via Appia (centre direction), take the exit number 13 (Tiburtina, centre) and continue straight ahead. You will arrive to Piazza del Verano. From there you will take Via C. de Lollis. When you see the archs, cross them and then turn on the right in Viale Castro Pretorio. Continue Straight ahead and turn on the left in Viale del Castro Pretorio, then turn on the right in via dei Mille and again turn on the left and you are arrived at the number 4.
From Florence: on the motorway to Rome, take the exit of Roma Nord. You will be on the ring road (follow the directions Napoli – Tiburtina or Roma – Aquila). Take the exit 13 (direction Tiburtina centre) and continue straight ahead. From there you will take Via C. de Lollis. When you see the archs, cross them and then turn on the right in Viale Castro Pretorio. Continue Straight ahead and turn on the left in Viale del Castro Pretorio, then turn on the right in via dei Mille and again turn on the left and you are arrived at the number 4.
From Naples: take the ring road of Rome (Direction Firenze – Tiburtina), take the exit 13 and continue straight ahead. You will arrive to Piazza del Verano. From there you will take Via C. de Lollis. Continue Straight ahead and turn on the left in Viale del Castro Pretorio, then turn on the right in via dei Mille and again turn on the left and you are arrived at the number 4.
By public transport from Ciampino Airport: you will find the Cotral Bus Service which will bring you to the Anagnina Subway station. From there, take the subway until Stazione Termini. There, ask how to arrive to Via Marsala and you will reach the hotel in 5 minutes.
From Termini Station: go to the platform 1 and exit in Via Marsala. Continue on your right for 50 meters. You will find on you left Via Milazzo and we are at the number 4.

Hotel Mirage Es ging, Frühstück nicht so toll und für die Gepäckaufbewahrung wollten sie 3 euro! Zimmer war ok

Hotel Mirage Point positif: prise en charge des bagages, internet Remarques d'ordre général: difficulté à trouver le lieu de petit déjeuner (pas de panneau), fermeture de celui-ci trop tôt (9 heures), ascenseur vétuste et dégradé (sol HS, baguettes des murs non fixées ), impossible d'obtenir des informations à l'accueil sur le moyen d'aller à l'aéroport Ciampino.

Hotel Mirage The hotel is located right across the train station. Do not expect luxury, i usually find the hotel in Rome quite expensive but rates at the hotel Mirage were convenient.

Hotel Mirage Staff was friendly. Rooms basic. Breakfast basic but good. The best point: location a few steps from the Termini train station, allows a quick move to any part of the city. Complains of the staff for paying with AMEX, initially refuse to accept it, but finally accept.

Hotel Mirage Good location just behind Termini station (via Milazzo/via Marsala). Shuttle buses from Ciampino/Fiumicino airports stop just in front the hotel, so you do not need a taxi or additional transport troubles. From via Marsala also depart buses to Castle Romano outlet and Valmontone outlet.
Hotel Mirage 1. the reception is good looking, but the hotel itself is in another building on the 3rd floor. When you come to elevator it is awful and the premises of the first floor are awful too, and this spoils the first opinion. 2. I travelled with my family, and one of the rooms i booked, was smelly. We had to change it. The reception was helpful and did not object. 3. The breakfast room is actually the hall of the third floor. Two small tables only.

Hotel Mirage Conveniently located near termini station and not too far from the colesseum. Simple and well mainteined hotel. We'd probably stay there again.

Hotel Mirage The shower was broke, and the toilet seat had come loose and was not fixwd to the toilet. The remote control for the air conditioner was not give to us untill after we complained that there was no way we could get the AC working.

Hotel Mirage Well the location is perfect, just outside the train station. But when we stayed there there was no hot water for the shower one day, and the air conditioner was absolutely not giving any cooling effect..

Hotel Mirage A terrible hotel in terms of room quality, cleaniness. The room I've stayed was without any window. The heating system was not working and I insisted the reception that the room was too cold to sleep. Than they gave me the remote of the aircondition but it was not able to heat the room except making excessive noise. I got up wered my coat and went to sleep again (the extra sheets provided was covered in dust and hair).

Hotel Mirage Generally comfortable and convenient and good value for the price in this part of Rome. A bit cold during the day in Winter - heater is not turned on until about 19:00. Not important if you are out all day sightseeing!

Hotel Mirage La prima camera che mi è stata assegnata, oltre ad essere microscopica (circa 6 metri quadrati più 3 di bagno), aveva le lenzuola sporche ed evidentemente non cambiate del precedente ospite. Ribadisco però l'estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, che dopo le mie lamentele mi ha cambiato camera.

Hotel Mirage Sono stata qui una notte, con la mia bambina. Lo staff si e' subito dimostrato disponibile e gentile con noi. Spazi comuni e camere pulite. Lo consiglio a chi non vuole spendere tanto ma rimanere vicino al centro.
