Milton Roma Die Lage des Hotels ist für den angebotenen Preis optimal- die Sauberkeit und der Komfort ebenso. Habe noch nie ein so reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet in Rom gesehen. Leider ist man auf meinen ausdrücklichen Wunsch, ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu bekommen, nicht eingegangen (ohne jeden Kommentar). Überhaupt: Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich, distanziert bis unterkühlt. Es liegt einzig und allein am immer freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Nachtportier, dem Service nicht eine schlechtere Beurteilung zu geben. Alles in allem: Etwas laut, überwiegend unfreundliches Personal- aber tolle Lage, saubere Zimmer und sehr gutes Frühstück. Ich würde wiederkommen!

Milton Roma Durch die Lage des Hotels an der Kreuzung zweier Hauptverkehrstrassen ist es für lärmempfindliche Personen ratsam , ein Zimmer zum Innenhof zu buchen.Dann kann man auch bei offenen Fenster gut schlafen.Bemerkenswert für ital. Hotels ist das reichhaltige und gute Frühstück. Das Hotel ist auch wegen seiner Lage eine Empfehlung , obgleich der U- Bahnhof z. Zt. wegen Renovierung geschlossen ist.

Milton Roma Das Hotel Milton Roma war ein echter Glückstreffer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Allerdings war es wohl zur Zeit unserer Buchung eine Art Einführungspreis, weil das Hotel ja erst seit 1.4.2006 existiert. Das Hotel liegt recht zentral in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes, so dass man fast alle Sehnswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Zudem liegt die U-Bahn-Haltestelle "Manzoni" direkt vor dem Haus. Bad und Zimmer sind sehr groß, ansprechend und sauber. Wer bei diesem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbüffet nichts findet, ist selbst schuld. Es werden alle möglichen Arten von frischem Obst, Müslis, Käse, Wurst, Joghurts, Rührei, Eierkuchen und sogar schon Pizza und verschiedene Torten angeboten. Das einzigste Negativum war, dass das Hotel an einer sehr belebten Verkehrskreuzung liegt und keine schalldichten Fenster hat. Sehr lärmempfindliche Leute sollten daher schon bei der Buchung auf Zimmer zum weniger schönen Innenhof ausweichen. Da hat man zwar nicht so den grandiosen Blick über das geschäftige Treiben in Rom, aber sie sind bestimmt ruhger als unseres, das ein Eckzimmer zu zwei stark befahrenen Kreuzungen war. Als Anreiz von mir an die Hotelleitung: Vielleicht doch noch nachträglich die Außenräume mit schallichten Fenstern versehen? Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel fahren und hoffen, dass es preislich nicht zu sehr anzieht :-) Evy Litzinger

Milton Roma Everything was fine, except the poor shower facilities. The stream of water in the shower was not constant at all. It was changing (hot and cold) everytime i took the shower. Plus, the water came out of the shower and thus flooded the floor in the bathroom all the time. Apart from this, everything was great. The staff is very kind (especially service ladies in the canteen).

Milton Roma We booked this hotel because it was across the street from a subway stop. However, that subway stop was closed for repairs so we had to walk quite a distance to utilize the subway. Also, our room was sufficatingly hot, and even after bringing it to the attention of the hotel staff, nothing was done (or could be done) to bring the temperature inside our room to a tolerable degree. Also, the street noise was intense. The hotel property was nice, but request an interior room away from the busy street traffic.

Milton Roma Nice Hotel, good location and excellent breakfast. Staff are very helpfull. Traffic noise disturb sleep a bit when room is on street side. I can recommend Milton Roma !

Milton Roma The hotel was still getting set up even though it opened two months ago. The advertisement says 500meters from Colleseum, it's more like 1.2km but it's walkable. I booked a double room for single use for 3 nights, but when I arrived they had given my room away and I had to stay in a single room for all 3 nights which I was not happy about. The room was very clean but a bit very, very small.

Milton Roma The hotel is new so there is a very little bit of teething problem but it has all the good signs of a very good hotel in the making. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of both hot and cold food. There are also cafe, bar and grocery shops across the road. The only gripe on information given on the website is that the metro station Manzoni, which is cross the road, is closed for refurbishment. This fact is not mentioned on the website - the metro station should be re-opened later in 2006 but the walk to the next nearest metro station Vittorio is not very far - less than 10 minutes away. Very good value for Rome. I will return to this hotel for my next visit in Rome.

Milton Roma This hotel has reasonably sized bright rooms - the pictures on the website make them look bigger but they were ideal for a city break. They were also spotlessly clean and had very comfortable beds - important after a days sightseeing! The staff were friendly and helpfull-the recomendation for dinner on our first night was great (can't remember the name but it was just up the road (something to do with two horses!) and we went back there later on in the week. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant Romantica - expensive and pretty average food. The breakfast was good - plenty of it and open until 11am - quite nice when you fancy a sleep in. The lady in charge of the breakfast area was excellent and she was interested to know how we enjoyed it and what they could do to improve things. Some more fruit and decent coffee would make it even better (the hot drinks are dispensed out of a machine). The hotel is close to the historic district and when the metro re-opens (later on this year I think) it will be a fantastic place to base a Roman holiday. We actually walked everywhere although there seemed to be lots of buses nearby and there was another metro station a few blocks away. The hotel has just recently opened and so there were a couple of teething problems that they will hopefully get sorted out. The first and quite serious one was that we were initially checked in to a room that was already occupied - much embarassment all round! They also didn't have shower curtains in any of the rooms which meant that the bathroom got very wet - they are waiting on the arrival of these. We also had initial problems with our air conditioning but these were sorted out by the hotel quite promptly-the staff were genuinely concerned. Overall the hotel is bright, very clean in a good location and represents good value for money. Our stay in Rome and in this hotel was wonderful and we will definately return to both in the future.

Milton Roma room was quite noisy the first night, but hotel staff managed to get us another room which did not face the main street. hotel was also under construction, however once finished we think its fine. location is excellent for sightseeing.
