Hotel Cavour Wir haben ein Hotel gesucht, was ziemlich zentral liegt, und wo der Preis nicht sehr hoch ist. Hotel Cavour hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen, und das ist ja klar, dass man fuer einen ermaessigen Preis keine hohe Qualitaet bekommt. Hotelpersonal war freundlich, die Lage - mindestens fuer uns - war sehr gut, eine Minute vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, und unser Ziel war eigentlich Pompei, mit Uebernachtung in Neapel. Wir haben das bekommen, was wir erwartet haben, also das war ein korrektes Geschaeft.

Hotel Cavour We arrived late in the evening, we only spent a night here but it was a comfortable stay. Conveniently situated near the central station. Comfortable room with a balcony, spotlessly clean. Healthy breakfast.

Hotel Cavour We were a family of four with two young adults that booked a quadruple (room was on the 4th floor). Even though there was a lot of traffic noise in the evenings, once the windows were closed, you couldn't hear any of it. We had read the many reviews and chose the hotel based on them - it was a good choice. We would book it again.

Hotel Cavour Clean, friendly, good breakfast offered and tasty dinners served. Old building so no specialty things like gym, pool, etc and the neighborhood is a bit dicey but the location is VERY convenient and the tours that pick up from the hotel lobby are worth while and well priced.

Hotel Cavour I was in four other hotels in different places in Holland and Italy during this trip and compared to the others: Cavour Hotel has much bigger rooms, sumptuous breakfast, caring waiters and personnel on the whole, and is strategically located. God willing, I will stay there again for a longer period next summer.

Hotel Cavour At first, we were nervous with the hotel being in the center of the hustle and bustle of Piazza Girabaldi, especially with the traffic noise from all the honking cars. However, the windows are pretty sound proof and surpisingly the outside noise was not an issue during our 3 night stay. Ciro, apart of the restaurant staff was very friendly and hospitable making our stay there a very pleasant one. We would certainly return again.

Hotel Cavour I would only stay in this hotel for short transit, area is not good but close to train station and bus to airport, otherwise the area is terrible dirty and unsafe. reception staff member was very rude when we asked about airport transport. restaurant ok but nothing exceptional.

Hotel Cavour We were a little concerned when we entered the hotel lobby due to the age of the hotel, but to our surprise the room was exceptionally good value for the price. There was plenty of hot water and clean towels. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very efficient and definitely needed in September in Naples. And last not least the room was quiet even though it faced onto the very busy Piazza Girabaldi. It was also very centrally located to all the sites in Naples and within walking distance to the train station and only a 20 minute taxi ride to the airport.

Hotel Cavour Leave time if you're trying to check out early in the morning (4-5): they do have staff on duty all night, but they sometimes doze off and it can take a bit to locate them. Also, there is NOT internet access in the guest rooms, though there is an access point in the lobby. Overall though, nice location, nice hotel, great price.

Hotel Cavour Hotel is situated close to the principal railway station in Naples and is surrounded by what we found to be a den of rascals who caught us out twice with scam purchases of both a computer for which we received 3 bags of salt in a lap top bag and a new mobile telephone charger that was found to be manufactured to look correct but not to deliver any current. Litterlouts and traders alike cover Naples city centre in litter each day; the city council attempt to keep it clean, but fail miserably. Driving locally is as though you are involved in a motor vehicle destruction derby of immense proportions and involving all forms of transport naturally found on any city road. The hotel staff were very efficient, kindly and provided effective advice and service, however compared with the other 3 star hotel The Riviera booked through you in Fiumicino, Rome it was decadent, and affront to us personally and a disgrace to the owners. As a whole we will only return to Naples under compulsory business. Car hire arranged back here in England through Holiday Autos was increased by Avis Car Rentals from £142.00 by £97 to include an accidental damage waiver fee of 9E's a day and 35E's at the end of hire for an accidental damage excess. This had been paid for already in the initial car hire. Advice: Look after yourselves in Naples and look for the very best sound deals you can make for all things.
