“Gutes Preis-Leistung und nettes Personal„
Opened in 1948, Hotel Azzi has historical roots, owning the third oldest licence in Florence. Housed in the old building once the home of the Barbera typography, it was originally part of a monastery which since the 14th century hosted travellers and pilgrims: its combination of culture and hospitality has made it a favourite place for artists, writers, painters and theatre people. Today Hotel Azzi is still a meeting point, a place for an exchange of information about what's on in town. It's a real pensione, unique in its non-conventional look and yet its attention to detail, its friendly, original atmosphere. On the premises, decorated with paintings by artists who sojourned here, special evenings are often taking place, dedicated to art exhibitions and concerts: the owners are noted musicians and theatrical artists.
On the ground floor: three suites of different colour, decorated with antique or particular forniture. A selection of books, records
or special aromas is available on request: one suite has a Jacuzzi.
On the first floor: 12 large, bright rooms with private bathrooms, most of them facing a quiet courtyard. Each one is particular and
different from one other; they are furnished with antique and vintage pieces.
On the second floor: our depandance Marine completely rennovated, 13 rooms all with bathroom and air conditioning.
Hotel Azzi Locanda degli Artisti is located in the heart of the historical city centre Hotel Azzi. It is an ecological oasis a few steps from the Main Railway Station of S. Maria Novella and Airport Shuttle Bus. It is even closer to the Conventions & Exhibitions Centre of Palazzo degli Affari and Fortezza da Basso, in the colourful neighbourhood of San Lorenzo, five minuts walking from Duomo.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Das Hotel war sehr einfach jedoch meiner Meinung nach sehr altmodisch. Antiqitäten brauche ich nicht im Urlaub, zweckmäßigkeit wäre mir lieber. Die Lage war jedoch zentral.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Günstige Lage: nahe am Bahnhof (Firenze S.M.N.). Bankomat, Markthalle (günstige Lebensmittel), Straßenmarkt (Souvenirs) und günstige Restaurants befinden sich ganz in der Nähe. Die Innenstadt (Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio etc.) ist zu Fuß leicht erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Eine gute Wahl für diesen günstigen Preis.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Wunderbares Hotel vorallem das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Einzig und allein das Frühstück ist etwas "mager" aber das macht die tolle Lage des Hotels wieder weg. Würde sofort wieder dort buchen.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Unexpectedly large apartment across street from main hotel, with terrace and kitchen, and antiques! Good breakfast and interesting, international, neighborhood. Climb of many stairs only slight complaint. If I were to return to Florence (unlikely) In would definitely again stay at Azzi Artisti.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Il mio breve soggiorno presso di voi è stato a dir poco molto buono. La sera quando ritornavo dopo una giornata di lavoro per uno stage di teatro sociale mi sembrava di ritornare a... "casa". Alla prossima.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Si trova a pochi passi dal centro storico di Firenze. La nostra stanza non era molto grande e arredata in maniera molto semplice ma confortevole abbastanza per un breve e piacevole soggiorno a Firenze.

Hotel Azzi Locanda Degli Artisti Muy agradable el hotel y en especial muy buena la atención (destaco la cordialidad de los jóvenes recepcionistas en particular la de Francesco). Habría que incorporar un televisor porque para quienes nos vamos a dormir temprano es bueno contar con uno para tener contacto con las noticias del mundo.
