Grand Hotel Virgilio Rooms were unfortunately not well sound proofed, had quite noisy neighbours which spoiled the time there.

Grand Hotel Virgilio The staff in the hotel had no personality and didn't tell us anything about the area or any events happening. The hotel is self was functional and clean but the lack of communication with the staff made the experience a little less enjoyable. A lovely pool area whihc was very quiet all the time. I would think that this hotel caters for groups and does not know how to cope with individuals on holidays. It was disappointing but we still had a nice time.

Grand Hotel Virgilio It has excellent conditions with large bedrooms, a good shower with hydromassage, high quality installations and a nice pool. Also it's only 5 minutes away from the beach. I would definitely get back to this hotel if i ever visit again this part of the italian coast - a small paradise that i surely recommend!!

Grand Hotel Virgilio We stayed at the Virgilio Grand Hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel offers great facilities: we got a lot of use out of the beautiful pool, in particular, which is always staffed and offers towels, beach chez-lounges and umbrellas. Everything in the hotel is very up-to-date, modern and clean. The one down side to our stay was that we were on the ground floor, right by the bar and reception area, which made it very noisy both late at night and early in the morning. When we asked to change, they were fully booked. However, we got used to the noise and were able to sleep well. I also think we got a great deal on TravelEurope.com--200 or 300 Euros cheaper than what we would have had to pay if we booked direct through the hotel.

Grand Hotel Virgilio We had a wonderful, if short stay at the Grand Hotel Virgilio. The staff were excellent and the receptionist spoke very good English. The room was perhaps a little small but we had everything we needed, including a safe, fridge stocked with soft drinks and a jacquzzi shower, and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed the use of a very nice pool with whirlpool area and the pool areas and lovely terraced gardens were very well kept. We had an excellent breakfast but did not have an evening meal at the hotel. Pool towels and drinks from the "room bar" were included in the price and we had the use of the hotel carpark or garage. The hotel is situated very close to the clean, sandy beach and the charming village of Sperlonga is just a short walk away - as are some truly delicious ice-cream parlours! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely visit this hotel again. Compared with some other hotels I have stayed at recently, I feel the Hotel Grand Virgilio was good value for money and was enjoyed by adults and children alike ( our children are 9.12 and 14 years old). The only slight criticism I have is that in a room for four, the third and fourth persons had to share a double size sofa bed which was a little small for our 9 and 12 year old who also did not want to share! Two camp beds or two single sofa beds might have been better. We're already planning our next visit!

Grand Hotel Virgilio Breve ma piacevole soggiorno, ci siamo fermati solo una notte, eravamo di passaggio. Il personale e' stato gentilissimo. La camera pulitissima. Torneremo in vacanza.

Grand Hotel Virgilio La camera matrimoniale offertaci era un sottotetto percorribile in piedi solo per metà di essa; unica finestrella in fondo alla parte più declive, praticamente inesistente.

Grand Hotel Virgilio La struttura si presenta bene al pubblico è moderna ed accogliente, l'unica cosa che mi ha perplesso è stata l'eccessiva ripidità della rampa del garage. La manutenzione dello stabile è pressocchè ottima, ho notato solo uno specchio crepato in un ascensore (lato dell'hotel soprastante il garage); Forse quello che avrei preteso per 70€/notte a persona sarebbe stata una "mezza pensione" e non solo "colazione compresa". Ma non c'è nessun problema! Quando si tratta di svagarsi e divertirsi non si deve badare a spese. Nel complesso vi consiglio un soggiorno al Virgilio Hotel **** di Sperlonga
